Subject: Now this one...
...was my first multi show effort, and only one as a matter of fact. This one was on a Saturday. I had bought tickets for both days. The Saturday show I was gonna bring a female with me, but that didn't work out. So I turned on a ticket to older hipster for his birthday present. He loved it! As so did I. The first three songs, the dead had their usual sound problems. As usual, Phil was low in the mix. Then, wonder of wonders all of a sudden, he got loud! When you can hear Phil, the rest of the band gets better, way better! So it was that day and the next day's show as well. They sounded like Europe '72! Bob had those jazz runs that day! And so... 5 big ones!

Subject: great job
This crew here makes the finest tapes, yes tapes because its what we had back then. Amazing sound again by this group.
Love the playin back to playin back then . Has that outside sound to it even though is a real sound board. I classify this crews boards as real boards because i know they were close to the band. Therefore plugging in live not after the fact days weeks or years later like so many other peoples boards. That's to take way anything from others hard work getting the boards up on this site,am sure it takes allot of work from everyone.
Having come from the Hult where the sound is pristine yet hard to capture only due to stealth. The boys seem on these 2 nights. I know from being at these first 2 Cal Expo shows they enjoyed the place.
The show has it all spacey jamming and good tight playing threw out. I would say get this one while you still can.
